Concrete is one of the toughest building materials in the world but it no longer has to be dull and gray. KONNIX-applied HTC SuperfloorTM is a complete process that revitalized and strengthens concrete floors, new or old. The concrete floor can be polished to expose aggregate and replicate the look of polished stone. The result is tougher than the original concrete, very attractive and seamless for low maintenance and hygiene.

What is HTC Superfloor™?
HTC Superfloor™ is a complete concept for polishing concrete. The polishing method mechanically refines the concrete surface by removing the top cement paste and exposing the underlying, stronger concrete. The existing concrete is grinded and polished according to a dependable and thoroughly tested method with HTC’s effective concrete polishing equipment and diamond tools. The result is a floor with a completely even polished surface of a high quality, both functionally and esthetically. To achieve all technical benefits demanded for calling the surface a HTC Superfloor™, the grinding and polishing sequence must be performed according to the prescribed method.
The Method
HTC Superfloor™ is a method of grinding and polishing concrete floors. This is done with HTC’s diamond tools in several steps with gradually smaller and smaller grit sizes. The process consists of grinding, refinement, impregnation and polish. This procedure gives the surface a high gloss polish and all the qualities that characterize a real HTC Superfloor™.
Phase 1 : First a rough grinding or a removal of old and dirty coverings is performed.
Phase 2 : After that a refining process towards a flat and fine surface starts. This phase involves two grinding steps.
Phase 3 : The floor is impregnated with HTC Cure™, to prepare for diamond polishing.
Phase 4 : The polishing starts with HTC’s specially designed diamond tools for HTC Superfloor™ production.
Phase 5 : After 7 grinding steps the surface is high gloss polished and you have a functional, economic and ecological Superfloor.

The Silver concept is a version of Platinum. Using this concept, you grind as deep into
the concrete as with Platinum, but do not polish it. The aggregate is exposed as with Platinum.
Silver is therefore excellent if you want a floor with a matt surface finish
